| The Exumas, is a
comingling of islands and over 300 cays offering
excellent snorkeling, diving, sailing and adventure.

totally uninhabited. 35 miles from Nassau, the island
chain stretches for more than 90 miles north to south.
The two main islands, Great Exuma and Little Exuma, can

George Town, the
capital, has not had a need for it's first traffic
light. The settlement is bustling with a straw market,
fruits and vegetables stands and a location where the
the local fishermen sell their catch of the day.
During the month of April,
the Elizabeth Hotel's marina is filled to capacity as
they're hosting The Out Islands Regatta, a
prestigious Bahamas yachting event.
The Exumas are famous for
the filming of James Bond's Thunderball @ the
Thunderball Grotto. As with other outer islands, diving,
fishing and snorkeling are all excellent. |
