TREASURE CAY, BAHAMAS

Treasure Cay is not a "cay" at all.      Treasure Cay is on the mainland just 25 miles north of Marsh Harbour.      Tresure was the first city developed specifically designed to accommodate tourism. Treasure Cay Resort boasts a 150 slip marina, shops, health clinic, dive shop and most anything you would find in a U.S. small town. Treasure is known for spectacular
beaches and incredible sunsets. Treasure hosts a post office, grocery store,4 mile stretch of sugar white sand, gentle caribbean breezes, crystal clear water and palm trees with which to hang your hammock.
    
      Treasure Cay is situated near the site of the first settlers of the Abacos. Charleton, Abaco, was a small community established near the north end of Treasure Cay. These settlers eventually moved on to what is now known as Marsh Harbour.
