When
you fly into Hawk's Nest, Cat Island,
make sure to clear customs before your arrival. Fresh Creek,
Andros or New Bight, Cat Island are good Airports of Entry
(AOE). The runway is a little bumpy but handled our Piper
Aztec without incident.
Introduce
yourself to J.R. and the crew @ Hawk's
Nest Resort and Marina. You'll find some of the best
cooking this side of the Mississippi.
We recently ventured over
during "off-lunch" time and were greeted with
one of the best Turkey Sandwiches ever experienced. You'll
need to call in your food orders in advance. Not to worry,
the French Toast (breakfest) and the N.Y. Strip (dinner)
are made to perfection.
