Normans Cay, Exuma was once the private island of the infamous Mr. Carlos Leder. After purchasing the island, an airstrip was borne and the rest is history. (check out one of the aircraft that didn't make it out)

 Today's Normans Cay is all about MacDuff's. MacDuff maintains the airstrip and has created a small paradise. There are a few cabins for rent and a stocked bar.
  The combination of airstrip and cabins makes MacDuff's a most popular destination with pilots. And the fact that he has the only burgers for islands around, makes him a most popular destination with cruisers.
  The anchorage is a great spot to spend a couple of days just hanging out. Up at the north end, there's a series of tidal pools, aka the 'conch nursery'.
