Stocking Island is 1 mile due east of George Town, just across Elizabeth Harbour. This barrier island has some of the most gorgeous white-sand beaches in The Bahamas. Snorkelers and scuba divers come to explore the blue holes and magnificent coral reef. A walk along the beach (on the Atlantic side) will produce beautiful shells that wash ashore.

   Boat trips leave daily from George Town, (West side of Elizabeth Harbour) heading for Stocking Island at 10am and 1pm. The cost is $8 per person round-trip. However, patrons of the Chat"N"Chill ride free.
   Make sure to have KB's grouper burger and peas & rice, it's the standard! Also, bring along an extra T-shirt to hang on the ceiling with your parting comments.
   Stocking Island is definitely an "out island". You will be hard pressed to find another human being while exploring the beauty.
